seem to be the best ever.

Bonnie and I drove from OKC to Junction on Thursday last week and returned Monday.  Once we crossed I-20 at Baird 'bonnets became the dominant wildflower, and blanketed the fields for as far as we could see in places.  Pastures appeared blue instead of green, though Texas is voluptuous in its greenness this spring, in an area that frequently suffers from drought.

I hope others have been able to get out and about, and take advantage of this exceptional wildflower year, one in which the bluebonnets exceed anything I've ever seen in my long years on this earth.
